Thank you so much for your very comprehensive videos and for the free downloadable crochet patterns. I just picked up crocheting again since learning as a child, about 55+ years ago. You've answered so many of my age old questions in your videos, like why were the end of my rows not consistently straight and why were there holes at the end of some of my rows. I've toyed with the idea of taking up crocheting again over the years, but never did. Now that there are great videos on KZbin to teach just about every craft/hobby that someone would want to learn, I can re-learn to crochet in the comfort of my own home and at my own pace. I've got a list of your baby afghans, your video links and corresponding .pdf patterns that I would like to start making soon. I thank you again for your passion of crocheting and willingness to share your talent with the world. God bless you! 💟

Hi Glenda! 👋 I love the look of this stitch in the multiple colors. It looks more intricate without being hard. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Magic knot would eliminate the ends to weave in. That’s what I like to do. I hate having all of those ends.

Hi Glenda, this is a great variation... hadn't thought to put a regular DC between FPDC... nice draping. Really like the Red Heart yarn as well... their Orchid purples are pretty too. Your sample with the Ice Yarn in Cakes Blue worked up nicely... so glad you used it since I wondered how it would look after your previous video. ☺

I learned the hard way to do sample swatches. I was making a baby blanket and kept having to take it out because with the type of yarn I used and the colors I was working it up in I was having a hard time finding a pattern that looked nice. After starting over 3 or 4 times I finally did a long swatch with a bunch of different patterns connected together so I could compare them all together - the swatch ended up looking like a really weird scarf, but it definitely helped with find the pattern that looked the best with the yarn and colors.
