Hi Anna, me again 😉! As I was stitching this afternoon, I was thinking I could sure use a pillow. And all of a sudden, I remembered that you had shown how to make a great one years ago but since I wasn’t a stitcher then I hadn’t made it. I’m so glad I still have some brain cells left to remember and that your video was still available. Yes, I’ve been watching you and G that long. Thank you for all you share!!! ☺️

My wonderful quilter (long arm professional), cross stitcher and wool stitcher daughter from Illinois came to visit last week (Az) and she made me this pillow with a pattern very much like this. It is the best helper for my wool stitching. Thank you Anna for showing her! We both love your videos. P.S.. Monica says you may come to Ole World Quilt shop and teach a class. I want to be there if you do!

Anna, watching your Floss Tube has inspired me to go back to a stitching craft I have not done since being a teenager! My Oma was an incredible embroiderer and I did cross stitch when visiting her...she always wanted me to keep stitching! So....with watching you....here I go again. As I wait for my first kit to arrive (I am not brave enough to kit myself😅)....I am making a stitch pillow to prepare! Thank you for this....all of it!

Anna, I've been following you for about a year and have finally made one of these biscornu pillows. I quilted each side with some of my machine's "fancy" stitches: needle & thread, thread spool, and scissors. I used your 15" dimension and managed to stuff in an 18" pillow form. It'll get it's first workout tonight. I'm looking forward to my next guild meeting's show & tell and I'll be sure to credit you.

I have a Saturday sewing group here in The Villages and we will be making this nice stuffed lap stitch pillow very soon. Thank you for this terrific, and fun, tutorial. Do you know if there is a pattern written instructions somewhere because quite a few of my ladies like having a handout to follow along on Demonstration. Thank you, Micki MacCumbee, The Villages, FL

OK I have to say there's a lady here in town that looks JUST like you ! Oy I had to stare at your picture for a few before I realized it wasn't here :) My mother was a seamstress yet I never remember her having a stitch pillow so I'm enjoying your video :) I've subscribed and will be going through your other videos - come on over to our place, no sewing videos yet but there will be a few in the near future. (quick question - why was the one lady wearing those gloves ?
@quiltroadies16957 жыл бұрын
glad you stopped by! gloves are worn when quilting because they move the quilt easier and then there is less tension on your neck, shoulders and back. It is best to use the glove with the bumps on the palms :)

Ahhhh ok well that makes sense - I have a feeling I'm going to be watching this particular video a few times as i want to try to replicate and make me one of those pillows also ! I'd like to invite you over to check out place out :)
