Filet is much easier than I thought! This opens up a whole range of options for patterns. 😊 thanks, Juan. Hi to your mom!

I love filet crochet and this is a very pretty pattern!! When I was younger I went for the more intricate and complicated ones, but now I don't want to deal with a different pattern on practically every row so I stick with these simpler ones. Thanks so much for this tutorial 🥰

Nice looking stitch. I love filet crochet. I did a scrapghan many years ago that was squares of filet crochet, each one had a filet crochet rose worked into it. I edged each square in black. It looked like stained glass!

Thank you Juan for this tutorial. I am actually going to use it for my bonus 25th block for the Winter Mystery Stitch 2024. I chose a very “me” color for it within the Big Twist colors. Your voice is always so soothing and I have done binge days where you are all I watch and it has saved my sanity. I’ve had days where I wish I could just pick up the phone and call you about yarn and “all the things” because watching you is like being with a friend. 💜🧡🧶

Juan, I was always afraid of filet. I was given a pattern with dogs as the filet part. It was not as hard as I thought. I made several baby blankets with that pattern. It was actually really fun. I will definitely be doing this in the future and the hot cross buns one, too. I crochet many prayer shawls for our church.
