Looks great stitched out on the black Richardson. Plus the Candle thread pops and the digitizing was so smooth. Mission accomplished.

How do you like the Tajima? Did you also stitch out the file on your MT1501 to compare it to the Tajima stitch-out?
@RomeroThreads10 ай бұрын
Thanks JR. I didn’t stitch it out on the Ricoma, but I am planning on doing comparisons soon.

Any pointers on embroidering on a 6 panel hat. That front center is tough haha broke so many needles. And suggestions when embroiderying on that parr?
@RomeroThreads10 ай бұрын
My only pointer is to use a 80/11 sharp needle. I did not have to do anything special.

Small letters are the problems I see people complaining about the 112

I bought the Gen2 system for our Richardson hats from Ricoma. It leaves teeth marks on all of them where as the Ricoma hat hoops don’t. I even sent off for a replacement and it leaves the same marks as well. Does yours do the same?
@RomeroThreads10 ай бұрын
It’ll leave teeth marks if the teeth’s are not inside or close to the brim. It needs to be tightly inside.

Would be good to know the needle size, do you steam the cap and what speed did you run this at?
@RomeroThreads10 ай бұрын
Im using a 80/12 needle, ran at 600 spm and I didn’t have to do anything special to the hat.

@@RomeroThreads Can you push your new Tajima harder to see if the stitch quality goes down? I recently did 48 Richardson 112’s with 9346 stitches of a badge type design, with a center placement at 820 SPM using 75/11 titanium needles with large shank. I did have to change needles around every 8 hats because I could hear it start to hit harder as it got dull. My guess is that your new machine won’t have any problems, that’s the benefit of this brand over your other machines. Thank you for your content! My examples were run on my Barudan Pro3’s.
