Sudafed! I would take a half dose of Sudafed (has to be the original with pseudoephedrine in it for it to work) when I would feel the Vertigo coming on. Funny story….. I worked at a grade school and we were having “Pajama Day” so I was wearing pajamas, robe and slippers. I was in the cafeteria supervising breakfast and I suddenly felt tired and dropped. They called an ambulance and took me to the ER, the doctor comes in and starts asking what happened, so I tell him that I was at work and just dropped. He looks at me like I may be a little confused and said “you were at work? Why are you in your pajamas?” Anyway, after many tests and resetting my crystals in my middle ears it didn’t seem to help. A few weeks later I caught a bad cold and perforated my right eardrum so I went to Immediate Care where the doctor put me on Sudafed amongst other things but after a couple of weeks I realized I no longer had Vertigo. It would come back at times so I would take half a dose of Sudafed and it was relieved. It is my go to now. Sorry for the long post! LOL

I am so sorry to hear about the vertigo. I experienced it last year and it was horrible. Have you seen an ear, nose and throat doctor? Mine did the Epley Maneuver that cleared up the vertigo immediately. It's a non-invasive maneuvering to send the ear crystals back where they belong in the ear. It's basic body and head positioning in a certain sequence. I needed a tune up two weeks later - so two maneuvers and have not had any vertigo since. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Agree. There are videos on KZbin that will guide you through the process. You need to first diagnose which ear is the problem (videos show you how to do this - pretty cool actually- nystagmus) so you will know which way to do the procedure. Sometimes you need to do the process more than once. I have had it get really bad after the first first time but immediately do another round and it will work. Be sure you were diagnosed with BPPV - which sounds like you were. It has saved me many times over the last 20 years. ❤

Glad to see you again! I’m so sorry about the vertigo! I’ve only had it once, it was a lovely side affect of the ‘vid. It was AWFUL, so I definitely know the struggle. Take it easy, listen to your body, and tell that vertigo to get outta here!🤣❤️

So glad you’re feeling better! I hope your healing continues, hang in there 💖 The hats are so sweet, I’m sure your sister and nephew love them. Love the shawlyou WIP. I’m finishing up the Felix pullover. I’m not loving the yarn so I’ve been slow knitting it but I’m almost there! Just in time for warmer weather 😅

Glad to see you! Vertigo is something my hubby suffers from. He had a contracted virus in the late 1980's and it killed the little hairs in the inner ear. He went through all kinds of tests before they figured it out. His body has adjusted some but he still has issues from time to time. Hoping yours gets better! Glad you could still do some knitting!

Wow! You’ve been through a lot! May the rest of the year settle down and I hope the vertigo ends. Life has a way of knocking us around occasionally but everything will be back on track for you soon, I’m sure. Don’t ever worry about taking a break from work if you aren’t feeling 💯percent! We love you and will understand if there is a delay in your videos or shop updates. Just do what you can do! ❤

To avoid looking down at a pattern maybe get a music stand. That way you can adjust the height and it has cuff so your papers or tablet won 't slip off.

So glad you're feeling better. My husband had that one winter and our PCP twisted his neck a certain way and totally resolved it. I think he's used that method himself at home a couple of times and then it was just gone. I hope you can find a good solution for yourself too. Ugh. Oh I remember that pattern and lusting after it too. I can totally see you rocking it and linen is such a great choice for the heat of summer! I'm picturing it with a pair of white pants/shorts, capris and perhaps the same color tank under or a contrasting white one. I'll bet you'll find a lot of ways to style that top. Best wishes for a healthy spring. Oh - our library has audio books for free through an app called Libby = so available 24x7 cuz we don't always have time on other people's schedules or want to risk being exposed to something when our defenses are already being pushed to their limits.

Omg the ring clicker is genius!!! You may have sold me, I always wanted to read and knit but found it annoying to pause every time I needed to turn the page. So sorry to hear of your health issues, vertigo is no joke. Hope it keeps at bay for awhile/forever!

So lovely to see you again. I’m sorry to hear about your vertigo episode and very happy, indeed, that you are on the mend. I’ve been working mostly on small projects (socks, cowls, fingerless mitts) - winter seems to want that from me. Now that spring is here I’ll probably start up again on some of the larger projects. (Not quite sure why that seems to be my m.o.) I read my books on the Kindle app on my iPad. I wonder if that super handy little page-turning ring exists for my set-up? I’ll have to explore. Take good care. Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah

🎉 glad to see you back, but I was having vertigo. Also last year from January until August Every time I turned around I was having spells and they kept giving me Compazine and meclizine trying to control it and found out that I may have been having some vertigo, but it was brought on by the fact that I had😢 become diabetic. They thought it was type two but it’s the pancreas just kind of crapped out. I will say it is definitely no fun that feeling is so awful. It’s like you drank way too much that feeling just before you pass out. Awful. God bless you to get better soon.

Happy to have you back! I am sorry to hear about the vertigo and health challenges. Times can be hard but hopefully you and your family member are coming through and will enjoy Spring together feeling better. I am knitting numerous things right now (sweater, shawl, baby blanket) but really want to find a cross stitch kit to make for my soon to be grand daughter. But I can't find anything just right. But cross stitch is next on my list. Your FO's look great!
