I tried following you but my N did not come out right. 1st the middle line came out really short. I chained 14 like you said but it seems like it should be more. The last line you say to chain 15 and sc13 then sc 3 so I end up with 16 stitches but you say there should be 18. I don't see how. It isn't adding up. should the middle line be chain 15 or 16? Should the last line be sc 16 instead of 18? Also, for the middle line - If we are ch 14 and then doing sc12 are we skipping that 13th ch before the slst? Same with the last line - ch 15 but sc 13 are we skipping that 14th ch before sc in last 2 sc? Is there a written pattern? I'm so confused. Yours comes out perfect mine is all wrong :(

Going to bug you one more time :) I went down to category 2 yarn and a D hook and my N is still not as small as I need it for my project. I decided to use an E hook and cat 2 yarn and only chain 10 but after that I get confused on what to do. Do I turn and still sl st in the first 3 sc?

well you would sew it on like you would anyhting else really..just put it where you want grab the yarn you used and go all around and stitch in and out

you just have to do some math in your head,,, i dont have patterns for any other size,,,you can use a 3 or 2 weight yarn along with a smaller hook or you just have to decrease your stitch count per legg of the letter.
