Do I cut this bodice on the fold? I made the pattern out of paper , but how do I cut the fabric. It's quite obvious it does not have a seam in the center, so what do I do?
@StitchlessTV7 жыл бұрын
+Morah Hello, you don't cut on tbe fold. If you want to do a full front pleated origami bodice, do the same thing but must make the style lines of the pleats touch the dart points on botb sides. Experiment in calico..... Tree.

Where does the Dart in the other side go? I know it says to make one line go through the point bit you'd still need the dart?
@StitchlessTV7 жыл бұрын
+Carmen Mackey-Morgan So long as all you style lines go though the bust dart points or waist dart points then that's it!. Try to watch to the very end and you see that the final seam that closes it all. Tree X

I tried this many times but I'm having a problem understanding how do I deal with the second dart? Im doing this on a full body scale and I get puzzled when I need to deal with the second dart. I know the line must touch the apex, but how does that work? Cus when it touches it, the dart closes, reopens where we cut but it ends up throwing off the pattern.
