Lovely colors and prints, right up my alley! I love bold colors especially in quilting. We have dark interior in our home so I like bright decor out in the Winter to chase the PNW gloom away.

You make me smile, you are so cute. I am intrigued with this method too and would like to try it. It was clever of you to come up with your paper source. Smiles from over the pond in Washington State.

Nice quilt idea using paper strips and scraps. I have used adding machine paper rolls still available in some places(US). They are 3 inches wide. Good idea to use the printer label paper backing that is usually discarded. I agree that the fabric strips should extend past the strip by about a quarter inch. Then trimmed even with the paper. And use a shorter stitch length of 2.0 or less to make removing the paper easier. Keep up the inspirational videos.

I wanted to use receipts but I could only get thermal paper so when I ironed it, it turned black but I like that it's a little thinner ❤️

I think that you can make your own scrap tape by cutting long strips of wash-away stabilizer. Items like scrap tape are very expensive to get here in NZ so i intend to improvise. 😊

This is so pretty! You could use copy paper the same way. Maybe you have or know someone that will be disposing of paperwork they don’t need. Another way to repurpose paper….and you save labels😊❤

It would make a great border, too, Rachel. Again, I'm really enjoying your quilting videos and would like to make a friendly challenge to my fellow subscribers/viewers to match my donation equivalent to buying you a cup of coffee (details in the description below the video when you hit "more").

It would make a great border to use up scraps from that project. I did a similar border before I knew about this method, and it was really hard to keep it stable so this would really help. Thank you so much xx
