I go through every John Feldmann preset for STL Tonehub! These tones are great for pop punk but there's so much more! There's heavy tones, clean tones, and even bass tones!

Have you compared the difference of this pack to the kemper version? does it need much tweaking in the mix? Maybe the low end.

No, I've never had the privilege of A/B'ing it against a Kemper. But I'm pretty sure Sam Guaiana said he sold his Kemper after trying this. The tones are pretty mix ready but can still definitely use a little processing.

Are the presets all in stereo like that or did you record it that way?

In the top right of the Tonehub plugin, there's an option for mono or stereo routing. Since I've collapsed my two mono takes onto one stereo track, I simply changed the routing from mono to stereo. If I were to leave my guitar tracks as two mono tracks, and put one mono instance of Tonehub on each, this nulls against 1 stereo instance of Tonehub on a stereo track. So there's no difference, it's simply a matter of workflow preference.

@@PeakLevelAudio but those drums aren’t raw correct? You did your own processing?

@@lildrummerboy80 I've done no additional processing to the drums! I loaded up the Knife preset in SD3 and that's what they sound like! The only caveat is I have CLA Mixdown on the mixbuss which has a bass and treble boost, and since everything in the session's going to the mixbuss, everything has that boost.

Nice to see someone giving pop punk some love. Check out our band if you like pop punk on Spotify : 5606 Just picked this pack up to do some demoing. And I agree runaway is the best pack. In fact I liked putting runaway on one guitar double and kick me on the other. Blends nicely.
