Weird, why is there a video about an FM? Usually, the games stress good moves for educational purposes, but in these, we had a +1, -1.5, +0.5, 0, -1, +1.5, -0.5, +3, (and so on) kind of game. If I wanted to learn from a game like that, I could check out a blitz game of mine.

Politically partisan comments are inappropriate for a chess lecture, for the same reason why proselytizing comments on the veracity (or lack thereof) of scripture would be. It's inherently divisive and hence, is contrary to fostering cohesion the way that a lecture of this sort should. Ben may be a funny guy, but frankly, he exhibits his share of poor judgment on when to keep his mouth shut. It's nice that he thinks highly enough of himself to believe that his opinions, outside chess, are interesting, relevant, and actually worth sharing. Except they aren't.
