When Ken West recommends f6 followed by Bh3 to prevent castling at 6:00. Isn´t a better response than to take gxf6 g6 attacking the Queen and getting rid of the pin? It is a bit annoying but you may have enough time to close the kingside and even try castling there as there are no more pawn breaks (If you get to close it. If White does not want to close it you still haven´t castledand even though still worse it is much less troublesome than having the Kingside shattered AND the Queenside castle prevented by the Bishop on a3.

Amazing lecture. My entire tournament (not online blitz play) Is based on prophylactic thinking and stopping opponents play. Please do the QGD petrosian variation from white and black as well as the Benoni specifically the New York variation from white and black.

The first game features Henrik Danielsen who posted dozens of videos in the old days of youtube on this "Polar Bear" opening, a reversed dutch with 1.f4. Those videos are private now because he is selling that information. Surprise, surprise, the position shown has his pawn on f4.

14:11 "Now white is just winning" But equal material. I suppose that after Rxb2 Kh3 and the mate threat costs him a knight (Nf4+). But then the blunder was Bxh2 wasn't it? :/

@4:30... Qd6 is nothing to sneeze at. When is GM Ben Finegold coming back? He recorded new videos, right?

In a position with a winawer, what about Qh5 for white?

Instead of f6 followed by Bh3, I was thinking Bh3 first, since then he can't castle otherwise f6+ picks up the bishop.

Just a small tip my guy, I know you're very good at content creating and a good player yourself... Please for the love of God if you recording a KZbin video, eating or drinking is not good. The sound effects are horrid.

I always told u but u never listen to me. I play G3 first move. Make a video on G3 in depth covering all lines for white. Example G3 D5 G3 NF6 G3 G6 G3 C5 G3 E5 G3 F5.
