Akobian is without question the best of instructor of on this channel. And when the camera catches him just right, sometimes he looks like Mr. Bean.

Still the best chess lecturer out there, especially for a d4 player. Guy is amazing. Pretty sure I've seen every video of his at least three times. I hope to god he comes back soon. It's been too long.

"If someone plays Grunfeld against you, you just play like this." Yeah right! I didn't find half of these moves!

Yeah, when he said that I thought "I wish" :D I can play against the Grunefeld, but not that precisely ... YET :D

This is instructive on how to create and exploit weakness in your opponents structure.

Only one bad thing at Akobian's lectures is that the more lectures I watch, the more feel myself stupid ...

I laughed so hard when he said Nd2 and I felt it was over. Haha! If that was one of my games I wouldn't think anything of the position at all.

Around the 12 minute mark he says the bishop on h4 is putting pressure on e7 and can always take if the knight on c6 moved away. But if Bxe7 then Re8 and black wins a piece because the bishop is pinned to the e2 bishop, no?

dxc4 instead of bg7 is giving me trouble because they can play b4 to hang on to the pawn

I just play like this from now on and win every grand master below 2600 ,easy peasy
@bozidarugljesic290711 жыл бұрын
instead e4 maybe he can take on c5 sacrifice a knight or bishop. white dont have a center anymore, but maybe im mising something

Would love to hear GM Akobian lecture on the Russian Defense but he never plays 1.e4! OK I'll quit bugging y'all about the Petrov lol... I want something against the King's pawn other than Sicilian or Ruy. I have the Caro-Kann pretty much worked out but I don't like playing from it any more I want to use something different now.

LoL "...just play like this." In that case we'd win every game if we just play like the winner. Nice lecture though.
