Irina is a GM and, from previous Finegold's lectures, I thought that it allowed her to move the King up to 3 squares in one move when playing black and 2 squares if white. My doubt is: can a super GM jump or otherwise leap with his King?

Its not a forced win like the Rg7 as the king has time to move next to the pawn with Kg6 and then he can squeeze in front of the pawn, preventing it from queening. White is still winning, mind you, but black might be able to get a draw if white doesn't play accurately.
