Stock Analysis: Liberty Global.

Liberty Global is a telco/network provider holding leading positions in the UK and European markets.
While the industry has been in a long slump, LBTY holds several valuable assets in its subsidiaries and I believe the company as a whole is significantly undervalued.
In this video I give my thoughts on the stock and the type of returns I think it can generate for long term shareholders.

The buybacks become even more attractive if you consider the book value is over double the market cap. A lot of good will on the books make me think twice however. Have you looked into this stock again? The A shares are trading at $21 today.

You make an excellent point. I would discount the goodwill quite a bit personally as you can{t service you{re debt with goodwill generally and we are in the golden era of free cashflow investing IMO. I don't mind the stock but believe that the opportunity cost isn't worth it considering other opportunities out there. But, I'd be willing to take another look upon a price drop or maybe short some OTM puts.. just weighing up opportunity and best uses of capital

Cheap is normally not THE main argument to buy a company. Yet this one is Inflation resistance and generates a lot of free cash. Very solid market, who wants to stop it’s internet Connection? Indeed Nobody! And a lot of hidden value looking to their book value and their investments (3 biljoen) in new business have a value. I say it’s a big buy at these prices. Now below 18$.

Yes, but as a westerner they may deprive me of my Russian stocks. I got rid of most of mine in Jan in anticipation of the trouble. Long dated call options might be a ballsy way to play it
