Pulling the black caps off the injectors doesnt change the injector flow at all. Also by blocking off your air assist port your actually reducing the fuel injection efficiency / fuel atomisation. The secondary exhaust sensors measure catalytic converter efficiency, they dont measure fuel mixture.
@ekamvirk75999 ай бұрын
I’ve tested afr with the rear o2 sensors hooked up just not in the exhaust stream and it was considerably leaner. With the injector air assist hooked up my car was misfiring. Worked better with it blocked off.

The decap seemed to have worked for me i’m not matching the same fuel pressure as others running the 7mge green tops which are 315cc injectors and my car is running richer

Clean build btw i think i’ve seen your sound comparison video before👍

decapping the injectors does increase the flow, the caps are restrictors at least for these injectors i did the something while looking at the cap it has 2 needle size holes and the injectors had 4 smaller holes, so i think the caps restrictor the fuel pressure
@RallyRanchMotorsport9 ай бұрын
@@JZS160-NAT no it's not 🤦 the cap is purely there to mix the air and fuel before it entered the port, you know how they have air injection? That's all it does. The two holes you're talking about direct the spray pattern onto the back of each valve.

@@icuxo looking into my shopping history and checking the price i think i got pretty lucky. but to get the turbo in and running without downpipe and midpipe can be done fairly cheap still after looking up the parts this is the currently price without downpipe and midpipe -maxspeedingrods gt3582 turbo $210 -98+ DNA is300 turbo manifold $280(mine was modified to fit bank 1 and 2 sensor i changed my wastegate flange to c clamp$400) -pulsar turbo pt/x35r psr3576 turbine housing 0.85A/R T4 divided intel vband outlet $360(turbo is t3 and manifold is t4) -totmox 44mm external turbo wastegate $190( i recommend rebuilding it as i did with a tial 44mm diaphragm $92 and a mamba 6psi spring $35) -tail 44mm wastegate dump $85 -2.5" inlet intercooler $110 -2.5" intercooler piping with different degrees $180 -fuel pressure regulator $90 -98-05 is300 short ram intake kit $125(cut off sensor part to add to the intercooler piping) -4an turbo turbo feedline $40 -turbo drain was custom made $100(bought the mamba gt35 oil drain $25 and modified it) and roughly $200 worth of hoses fuel, air bunch of c clamps because the ones in the intercooler kit is garbage. as long as you have time and it isn't your daily take your time and shop around on fb marketplace. took me about 9months to buy all the parts. so yeah at this moment roughly 2k

@@JZS160-NAT Thank you VERY much lol, I will take a lot of these in consideration, the biggest issue I have is getting the right parts for good shipping price to Canada and finding the right intercooler setup, the IC kit alone is so hard to find unless they all literally work the same. I am at 2K with the parts I have found so far nevermind anything sub $100. How much power were/are you making and how long has the setup lasted for?
@JZS160-NAT7 ай бұрын
@@icuxo yeah i had the same issue with finding the right intercooler setup saw the cxracing ones are going for like 800 and shipping is 400 thats just crazy, i get it they look nice but for a nat setup unless your building the motor and going high boost its not worth it just make your own ic setup so much cheaper under 300. I havent dynod the car but with the setup i have i should be around 300-315whp(6psi colder months 7.5psi mid summer), the lexus forums have alot of info on the 2jzge nat builds. you can get %10-15 more airflow into your throttle intake if you buy the throttle lock kit from drift HQ which i did, the normal full open throttle at wot is a restrictor. winter is finally over and i get my car out of storage tomorrow i can make a short video on my setup if you want a visual, i dont do yt but i know how to hold a phone lol

@@icuxoI didn’t run a ic kit. I bought a single pack of universal chargepipes with 45s and 90 degree bends, 2 4 foot straight pipes, a ebay intake with the ebay maf housing, couplers and clamps from ebay, and a 100 dollar ebay intercooler. Whole cold side system cost me around 250 total. If you need links to parts feel free to message me on ig and i can send you the links

Yoo not too familiar with shims Can someone enlighten me on them?
@ekamvirk75996 ай бұрын
The transmission has fluid accumulators underneath the valve body. Adding the shims and turning a pressure dial inside the transmission turns up the trans fluid pressure, thus making it less prone to slipping at higher horsepower. There’s videos on youtube covering the diy a650 accumulator mod. Highly recommend it. Zero slips and the shifts were much firmer than stock

It would have been more safer to invest in a 450 pump, some 800cc and a fuelrail, a piggyback and just tune it propper.
@ekamvirk75996 ай бұрын
Would have doubled my budget for a little bump in power and reliability. The car served its purpose and is still running healthy with the new owner. Also, havent heard the best things about the piggybacks, as they’re hard to tune and tricky to wire up. I spent about 130 on the full fuel system with all fittings included.
