Excited for your future videos as well. Oh and to agree with Phil Olen’s comment - I think he’s talking about the equalizers ? Saleen would always upgrade with the Pioneer set ups but Ford did offer their own Equalizers as an upgraded sound option. Those are so hard to find but that would be cool to track down for sure. But I think how you have it now is just perfect man! Love it! Thanks for the content!

I’ve found quite a few out there on eBay etc but unfortunately don’t have the funds to afford what most of them go for. But as soon as I’m able to I’ll definitely be looking to find/buy one and I know I’ll want to have you work your magic on it as you’ve done with KASL Customs! There is one on the bay right now that has the equalizer attached but it’s out of a Thunderbird of same year - I was told it would fit/work for 90-91Mustangs as well but I’m not sure if all that is true or how all that works (I’m not radio savvy though I wish I was LOL) but nevertheless I’ll definitely want to come to you when I can acquire a factory radio for my fox! Oh and I also live in Indiana.

Dude I have an idea for a 3d printed part. You can print a modified cubby that doubles as a wireless charger for your phone 🔋🪫. Maybe lined with a thin rubber mat so your phone doesn’t move. I just saw your vid on 3d printed custom parts, it was really cool! Keep up the great content.

Your videos are awesome. The convertible looks great!!! I presently own my 2nd Mustang. My first Mustang was a 1970 Mach 1, 351 Windsor 2bbl, I was in high school at the time. How I wish I still owned it. My current Mustang is 2013 V6 Premium convertible (Race Red, cream interior, tan top) with Pony Package and Shaker 1000 sound system. Funny story is that the vehicle was traded in by an 87 yr old lady for a brand new A3 convertible with Quattro. The car 14,200 miles on it when I purchased it in Nov 2018. My Mustang now has about 17,000 miles on it. The radio in my car has a scratched screen (standard radio, no nav system). Does that gent Todd refurb those radios? My Mustang is a fair weather car only as I own 2 Subaru's for the crappy weather.

I still have my original Fox radio from 1991, took it out a week after I bought the car new to put a Kenwood in it. Still have stock radio with only a week of use on it that i want to put back into the car to bring it back to original but my face is messed up on sides from prying it out incorrectly, even though i had the removal tool, it was still hard to pry out, not to bad but could use a replacement cover. Yes, still have the car, 30 years later, it is just about back to Stock except for Tremic Trans and control arm's and bushings.. which are staying. I still have original trans also sitting in a box the last 23 years but Tremic is staying in it with its 3:73 rear gears.

Great video Buddy! I too have had REALLY good interactions with LMR when I've had issues with parts. I am in the middle of dealing with another place on an issue, and they take a couple of days to get back with me each time. I only used the other source because LMR was out of stock. That’s the coolest thing since sliced bread! I was trying to tell you to turn of your blue tooth off to listen to your FM but you could not hear me ha ha ! Do you have the special tool to pull out the stereo? That’s what the 2 little holes on each side of the radio is for ! It Makes its way easy if you ever need to pull your stereo back out for something 👊

Yeah that may work too. The coat hanger is nice because you can angle your tips in a bit which helps release the clips 👍

That's a pretty bassackwards way to do the job. The vast majority of people who do this mod (and it is a common mod), tap into the preamp section of the tape deck. When the job is done like that, to use the BT, you simply insert a tape shell into the deck. (By shell, a tape with no actual tape). When using the tape's preamp section, you also get maximum sound quality versus using a crappy FM modulator.

I spent an hour in the Walmart parking lot talking with a guy and admiring his 34000 mile spotless 1976 Lincoln Mark IV. There was a lot to like about that car. But my favorite feature was the original AM/FM 8-track Quadrophonic sound system. And, the 8-track still worked!

Sort of… if you get a call, the callers voice will come through the speakers but there is no mic in the ford radio so therefore the caller cannot hear you.

We’ll make sure you don’t cut your stock harness - buy the plug and play harness for your aftermarket deck. Also, try your best to not put screws into your center console. There are not many center consoles left out there that haven’t had screws put in them for aftermarket deck plates 🥲
