Great video. Lochloosa has long been one of my favorite local spots. It is also on the Florida Adventure Trail. I will get a crew from our team to get that cab out of there. I hate to see that. The turtle thing is surprising as well. Did yall happen to call that in to FWC?

Matt; what is going on with the water that you pass through and around it always looks black and rust colored and is it safe to swim in?

This color is a natural result of tannins that are released when organic material like leaves, bark, and tree roots decay. Some times its called black water.

Scummy folks to mess with gopher tortoises....that makes me a little angry . The truck cab screams red flag suspicious stuff also.

I hear ya. They have no clue how much of a keystone species the tortoise is. But judging by how they tried to hide the evidence they knew what they were doing was wrong.
