I highly appreciate your knowledge of Excel. Please note one thing. The seller will be purchasing items from various suppliers,/manufacturers, so we cannot maintain a serial number for the billing of any particular item. We need to enter the bill number and the supplier's name from whom we have purchased. So there is no relevance in maintaining a sequential number for the purchase of a particular item say Mouse in your illustration because there are Mouse sold from several brands and also the rate of each brand would be different. HP may cost you Rs. 200/- and another top brand may cost you Rs. 250/-. So create a Database example based on various brands, Item codes, that would give us an average price of each item and then how to fix a sale price for it adding the profit @ a particular %. Further, a trading unit can maintain the serial number of the invoice raised for sales and your idea of getting the last sales invoice number is correct. Please modify your tutorial to include the following; Make a separate form for Purchase Entry, and a separate one for sales entry the stock should sort on the basis of brand and item code and give an average rate to fix a sale price after fixing the percentage of profit for it. A BIG thank you for the wonderful video on stock inventory systems development. I have been looking for one such as this. This is very useful. However, the "sale entry" accepts items which are unavailable in the purchase list. Under such circumstances, the "stock' table does not show the items entered in the "sales entry" table which were not recorded in the "purchase" table.
