Trader's aim should be Win big and lose small. Once we understood then we are good to go... Instead of buying individual stocks, can buy nifty 50 index fund with lower expense ratio monthly after having health insurance, term insurance and emergency fund. For individual stocks can do some course (my favourite are flip by varun malhotra and value investing mastermind by safal nivesh vishal) and start investing for staying rich and not being rich.
