How to control loss 1) Keep stop loss even for stocks/mutual funds , check stock volatility for stop loss, decide risk reward ratio to put stop loss 2) Keep trailing stop loss 3) Enter trade in market's direction, direction of stock and market should be same. 4) Keep target in relation to market's movement, check if stock follows market's level. 5) Check sell signals, if permanent factors then exit , check vol & delivery % data, quarterly results , FIIi exit etc 6) Check stock and sector news both, sector and stock performance both should be good. 7) Don't average out losing trade

Date: 27-03-2020 Stock Market Loss - How to Control It? 1 For every trade have a stop loss - stick to it - based on stock volality decide stop loss (use last 30 days data) 2 Keep Trailing Stop Loss - Once you see stock in profit 3 Find right Entry Point (Find market direction, relate stock moment with market direction) 4 Find right Exit Point 5 If you identify Sell Signal early, do exit 6 If Sector Performance news is bad, but stock is performing good - do exit stock because stock cannot sustain good movement for longer time 7 Do not average out stocks when going down because loss multiplies and you never know bottom of that stock

For an individual stock, please keep a close watch on bulk deals, shareholding pattern released every quarter, volume & delivery % and also search for FII selling in a particular stock through news aggregator sites like google news. There is no dedicated video on average out. I keep referring to this imp point in my videos. The regular viewers should not feel i am repetitive therefore i inform them through video that i already discussed in past 🙂

If you buy 10 stocks at Rs 100 then your average cost is Rs 1000. Assume stock price drop to Rs 90 and you buy 10 more shares. Here the objective of investor is to reduce average cost. Therefore now you have 20 stocks and average cost is Rs 95. Therefore, in my opinion investor should not buy to reduce the average cost.

In my opinion, NPA is biggest concern as of date. Under reporting of NPA's by the bank is a grave concern and NPA's of more that 5% is a major problem for the bank. Fundamentally it is big negative.
