We are already in a big crash Inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

Picking stocks is a risky thing to do particularly for non-professionals. I learnt that in 2021 when I lost almost everything I was lucky to switch to using a financial advisor who has better knowledge of the market than I do and I've been returning at least $70k every month with no prior experience ever since, just too bad I didn't learn this earlier on.

Bought doge in November last year and made 5 grand into a half million after taxes. Now I took that half mil and threw it in AMC @14. Now holding over 30 thousand shares worth over a mil. I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless.

@@highwaytoheaven3593 Your problem could be that your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.

@@lacyd1240 Don't be discourage. Trading takes years to master, even the pros learn everyday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them, moving stops to BE may help. My advice, find a mentor. And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators or rsi into your strategy to make your entries better and prevent overtrading. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later.

@@edcordel1576 You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves. Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask?

@@highwaytoheaven3593 I think the most important thing you should know is staying away from the lower TF, that's where the big boys play and so it's prone to manipulation as a result of large order sizes . What they can't control is the larger TF, just stick with that and you should be safe. Yes, I know getting help is hard, most pm’s don't even have time to teach other people. But I do know one person though, not a mentor per-se, but consistently makes good returns. He works for a proprietary firm as a pm.
