I don't know if it is avaliable in Canada but in the US I have started using better than boulion and water instead of packaged broth. It is much cheaper and uses less space than broth. We can't tell the difference. I store it in my refrigerator after i open it but it says just a cool and dry space.

Hello I couldn’t find the video that you showed using the little dash egg cooker. I Ordered it that same day,it came in yesterday and,I used it this morning I love it. I Love hard boiled eggs toast and applesauce for my breakfast and don’t like doing it on the stove. I Might try the pouched eggs tomorrow. I Couldn’t get over how small it is but, it’s perfect because I live in a one bedroom apartment with not much kitchen space.

I swear by the no name ketchup and stock and the PC brand diet ginger ale. If I'm working in camp and am not limited on weight I always bring these with me. The camps always have Heinz but I love the no name brand. At 2.99 for the ketchup and 4.99 for the ginger ale, it saves a bunch.

Every month I add of Mac n cheese, family size dinner instant potatoes, Uncle Ben’s wild rice, instant white rice. jasmine rice, biscuit mix and pancake mix where you add water only. oatmeal and cream of wheat. I have recently added box of fry bread. This is my staple to purchase every month. I do the challenge of “Appalachia homestead with Patara” and purchase 5 cans of something every week. I look for sales for all the items. Patara started that challenge in April of 2020 during the forced pandemic. We also make sure we have extra dog food. ( have 2 dogs)

Whoa - $1.82 for 1 green pepper! I was listening while doing a Walmart order and actually just bought a green pepper for .68 cents. I know CA prices are higher, but that's shocking. I added a Sweet Baby Ray after watching this. I'm in my new location and while I managed to move a lot of my storage with me, I can see where I need to fill in things I couldn't bring (I was able to give a lot away, including my open bottle of BBQ sauce). I should have made a list, but that would have required me to be organized.😄

Prices are scary here. Michelle takes so long because so many price decisions are being made that it’s like a wrestling match for what products will make it into the cart.

@@thehomemakerhusband You won't believe this. The Walmart driver made a mistake delivering my order. I didn't get my vitamins and supplements, but I did get someone else's snack cakes. Walmart gave me a code for $15 off my next order >$25!

That's what we have to do these days, shop around and shop the sales. I miss coupons. I have decided to knuckle down and follow a strict budget now, gone are the days of just buying want we want and only what we need. It's ok, we're not going without but I simply have to be more strict with myself and more diligent with my planning etc. You will probably like No Frills, but I have found that often the trucks don't come in when they should and the produce section (no lie) is almost always only half stocked. I wouldn't rely on them for online shopping (if they even do that) hmmm 🤔actually I don't think they do... anyway, Much love from Northern Ontario!! God Bless everyone!!!

A major Ouch-I did want to mention and i hope this works for u- punkin lee is my 7 yr old ginger tabby guy, awhile back i had found this at my local Walmart, Punky enjoys his treats, he has some- what is called Pur'ee that comes in a small pouch ( 4 for $1.82 up in the cat treat area unless its gone up in price also, ) they have chicken and or salmon thats just some of his treats he gets & loves so he is spoiled, i thought maybe ur lil girl might enjoy these puree singles also- unless her Dr sez she cant have them due to health issues. Thanks again for ur updates, you 3 have a great day.😊😊

We are close to that goal and they are in our main pantry. After that the goal is 40 of each (what doesn’t fit in the pantry will go in a basement storage area).
