Actually the engine analyzing is stronger it is stockfish 16 or 15 meanwhile this was played by stockfish 8 and alpha which are weak engines in comparison to engines currently available

So yes these games have blunders and alpha zero never played against an engine stronger than stockfish 8 it loses from stockfish 12 NNUE and so on, also there is no official stockfish channel

Interesting series... It would be nice if you could give white pieces to the lower rated side, maybe it would give it some chance. If 2 supercomputers are playing, even if neither one of them is higher rated, white has a slight advantage just because of making first move. Basically, he is always ahead in developement, assuming he plays perfectly. And +0.5, for example, in the engine world is a lot to start with.

Stockfish simply got stronger. I think it got faster in analyzing positions and continues to use an alpha-beta pruning search algorithm to enhance its minimax algorithms. AlphaZero still uses a Monte-Carlo tree, which is similar to how we think.

Alphazero was made for go which uses a different algorithm(go also currently does not have the best possible move thing right now like chess) Stockfish uses a different algorithm which uses brute calculation to find best move in chess(go does not a brute calculation best move yet and alphazero can be made even better at go at finding new best moves at go,whereas with chess brute calculation will be able to find best possible move(this does not work with go so they had to make a new algorithm for go which is alphazero))
