If I could consistently play middle games like Stockfish, I’d play this & not worry about my king being stranded in the center on a semi-open board. But, I don’t. If anything SF’s approach seems to show that there is no bust or refutation of the Smith-Morra Gambit.

I having been plying the Smith Morra again this year, it has given me good results, fine play by the fish but it’s annoying to see my opening beaten so easily. I know it is unsound though. Thanks Josip.

I wouldnt call it easily. Very hard to crack the white i would say.

its not unsound also the white engine played be2 instead of bb3 which is more drawish and white has no problems

15. Be3?! is lame, better was 15. h5 = pressure in a position that only Stockfish 16.1 would feel comfortable playing as Black.

Many openings are completely fine. It's just that these engines aren't as good as Stockfish.

Just Amazing Stockfish plays the best moves I haven’t seen any Blunders from Stockfish it’s just incredible the advantage it has over other engines always a trick up its sleeve Great Game thanks Jozarov enjoy the day 😊♟️
