Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Hemköp is our local shop in Upplands Väsby, so its nice to see this. love your other videos, especially the Arlanda, Upplands Väsby, Coop, Ica, downtown Stockholm and many more! keep up the good work 🇸🇪❤️

Great tour of the supermarket. I would be interested in seeing the bigger version of this store someday. I worked in a supermarket when I was in college and am always interested o see how it works in other countries. Ant your yougurt drink looked yummy😊

Cool to see a Swedish supermarket from the inside. I only know Aldi and Lidl supermarket from the inside. I think Hemköp is more diverse.

Nothing stronger than 3,5 % alcohol in supermarkets in Sweden. Anything stronger than that you have to go to the state runned monopoly business called Systembolaget.

Ah, one more thing. I mostly use snabb kassa. But this time was some small surprise. I pay and try to go out, but glass door was in a front of me. For passing that door, you must scan your kvittot (receipt). It was something new for me.

Those Yalla yogurt drinks are the best!! Surprisingly there’s a deli here in NYC that sells them. I might just have to go get one today myself haha.

If something told you, you won't believe it. In Switzerland there is a coop supermarket and a coop petrol station, they also sell alcohol, no matter what percentage (there is no such thing as Systembolagat) but coop is a different system than coop in sweden ..What are you doing in Switzerland? That not joke

I used to have that box full of fresh salad of my own choice as lunch during my stay at Stockholm. By the way big stores like ICA used to have self service payment booths as well where you pay yourself by scanning the items you buy. I cant see it in this hemkop store.

Haymarket är det nya namnet som det nya hotellet fick. Men i byggnaden finns inte bara hotell utan butiker finns kvar, bl a på gatuplanen mot Drottninggatan och Kungsgatan. Sen finns det ju restauranger där också. Det är de översta våningarna på det gamla varuhuset PUB som är omgjorda till hotellrum.
