Hi! So if I want to make a big blanket it would work for me to cast on 141 stitches, correct? Then I'm confused about the repeat. For instance in the first row would I want to repeat the knit 13, purl 1 until I got to the last 7 stitches?

I find the pattern needs 29 stitches to start off with as it is k7 at the start plus 1 for the first purl and knit 7 at the end equates to 15 plus the 14 in the middle row. Then the start needs at least 29, not 14.

I'm confused about the multiples of 14 plus 1. on most of the rows there are 29 stitches.

+Holly Jenks Stockinette and Garter Triangle Stitch is worked over a Multiple of 14 stitches, Plus 1. So how many stitches does this mean to cast on? A multiple of 14 = 14, 28, 42, 56, etc. If you cast on 28 stitches; you would then need to cast on 1 more stitch, making your total stich number 29.

why have u said 14 multiples and done 28 +1. that was very confusing. u could have said u have castes 28 plus 1. also if I am learning I would do just 14. but I don't know how to calculate for just 14 plus 1.. but great tutorial though
