In my family it was a tradition that my mom would buy my sister and I each an ornament for our stockings. When I moved out as an adult, my first Christmas on my own my mom told me to come over and get all of my ornaments. She said she bought them for us so that now we’re grown up we have ornaments for our own trees.

I have always loved the stocking part of Christmas. Finding the little things that fit and they ask for. When I was a teenager I always went for my stocking first as I would get a piece of jewelry and that, makeup, perfume and favorite candy that wasn’t a shared thing (of course we traded & shared but it was bc we wanted to and learned that sharing is kind). Parents work so hard to make the holidays special it’s a lot of work and we do it for the joy & excitement of watching our kids light up! Great video

After watching you & several other utubers, I realized that I definitely go overboard on stockings LoL 😂 I put what I can fit into the stockings then I have big buckets for my kids for the rest of it. My parents started a tradition when we were young, we couldn't open our stockings until after Christmas dinner. It spread the Christmas joy thru the day. I loved it & I've done this with my kids too. They're both adults now, but we still do this ❤ Merry Christmas Rachel & family!

I found it very helpful to keep each person's stocking stuffers in their own gallon zip lock bag. That way I could see how much I had per person and the gallon bag will fill up a standard stocking so I didn't go overboard

Santa always brings my husband and I scratchers. He provides a variety of scratchers that we wouldn’t normally purchase throughout the year. We always have fun with it. Great video!

Yay stocking stuffers! I always appreciate your tips and tricks. I bought those Mighty Patch things for my teenage daughter for the first time to put in her stocking. Glad to hear those are good. For whatever reason my 11 year old daughter is into skincare, and I was a bit stumped as to what facial cleanser I should get for her, so I will look out for the E.l.f. cleanser. Thanks for sharing Rachel:)

CeraVe is my favorite face cleaner. It’s great for all skin types. The Elf is a makeup remover but they also have face cleanser. The mighty patches are so good; I have my own stash. 😊

@@RachPlusFive Thank you so much for letting me know! I will get the CeraVe instead. The only thing I've heard her talk about is Drunk Elephant, but I saw the price...😳

Hi Rach! I love stocking stuffers.. I think you do an awesome job! Being a single mom, I always had to get my own stocking stuffers so my daughter didn't think Santa forgot about me 😂 Now shes older & I still grab stuff I want & let her fill my stocking 😊 Holiday scratch offs are a tradition with us also 😊❤

Please note! Delectables lickables are made by Hartz brand (its on the back of the package in small letters. Hartz is dangerous. There are now 2 other brands of the lickable tubes.. i buy INABA Churu. I think they are $4 instead of $3. My kitty loves them the same.. they even have chunks of tuna at times..lol.. i think Purina also makes a lickable.... just in case you didnt know about Hartz.. theres lots of info about the bad brand.. im not picky but i try to stay away from them . Merry Christmas... our dog and cat share a stocking.

I’ve been doing that for about 25 yrs & it does make things easier!! I just don’t think a 12 yr old girl should be wearing makeup especially not eyeliner & all that! I also don’t think kids should be given scratch offs because those are gambling which I personally would never promote in a kid!!!
@RachPlusFive11 ай бұрын
Blind bags are basically gambling. It’s a scratch off. I don’t have a gambling problem and I’ve had them since I was a kid. The makeup is for learning. She is still trying to get the hang of it and there are hundreds of 12 year olds all over the internet doing full face makeup and skincare (which is crazy) so I’m ok with her experimenting. 😊
@janiceh452111 ай бұрын
I think a scratch off at any age is really about the excitement of scratching and wondering. Obviously if there is an issue just as with anything it should be avoided but I see this as harmless 1 time a year treat.
@marilynweist264511 ай бұрын

Girls start wearing make when they 11, so a 12 year old that is about to be a teenager is totally fine.
@HaileyBug011 ай бұрын
But I don’t agree with the scratch offs, and actually it’s promoting bad habits and your not allowed to buy scratch when your a kid.
