A reason for less consumption of commodities can be cause of extreme influencing by influencers on cloths , organizers , jewelry, shoes , new unnecessary renovations etc. People now are realizing these are infact unnecessary and waste of resources and are getting de influenced and buying less. Also taxes have increased, income haven’t increased as such, making a lifestyle is getting hard - these reasons contribute too to this phenomenon of less consumption
