This is why I don't know what the mod author was talking about saying that having modes where players are more concentrated would kill performance. What actually stresses the server simulation is a lot of things going on spread out across a larger area.

@@finneyz24 No video games don’t depict that because what they do is distort real events with fictional characters, factions, or set things in the past with non-political sanitized content. Sure you can base a wargame off something that is real but you can’t get too graphic or depict something 1:1 with reality, that way game companies can’t be sued because they added layers of plausible deniability. You can’t just hop on the Road to Bakhmut server where you play Ukrainians and Russians flying kamikaze drones at eachother.. it trivializes an ongoing conflict and it romanticizes either side. You gotta think outside the perspective of a gamer, Russians and Ukrainians both are living this trauma. It’s shameful to play games about it, Bohemia can get sued for this.
