Either use the pp29 yourself or get better? I mainly use the autoshotgun or first LMG and I have almost no problems in games. Always have a positive KD and usually in the top 5 squads. It doesnt matter if im using the pp29, lmg, shotgun, scar, SVT, or Snipers. Play to the weapons strengths, and change your playstyle depending on what youre using...

Edit: Issue fixed itself after about 3 games Has anyone gotten a Zoom bug on the Snipers when running a close range optic, your scope will default to the iron sights' zoom level. Has happened in 2042 and Portal. My only solution has been changing the optic after using a gadget or plus menu, scrolling to the close range, then long range, and finally shoot. Wouldn't be a problem if you could remove slots in the plus menu, only having long range optics, but now I can't use snipers till this gets fixed

Indeed. It can’t one shot bodyshot someone within 100m if they have armor, and also can’t one shot anyone farther than 100m. Combine with slow cycling and reload, a decent sws/dxr sniper could easily counter it. In long range engagements you can see where the shots are coming from, close range you either use your mobility to escape or outplay them. Is it annoying? Yes. But it’s definitely not overpowered. It’s what a anti material rifle should be.

Fun fact: we do revive. But currently there is a bug in the game that if you die too close to an object, which you are supposed to use as cover, the game doesn't let us revive you.

1x scope makes sense for the NTW-50. If you need to lead your target that much, then you need to retain enough perspective to simultaneously see both of where the enemy is and where you expect they will be, after bullet travel time. A high mag sniper scope often won't let you see both at once. Can't wait to unlock the NTW-50.

In case you haven't, you should try out Rao. His hacking ability really fucks with vehicles. Their movement is affected and they can't use flares. It makes it much easier to kill them, especially helis.

People really sleep on the EMP grenades. They're great with an LCMG because they give you a window to shoot all the occupants of a light vehicle through the window while they're confused and unable to fire

Kind of op but vehicles in this game are extremely op. Not sure if this is the right balance. But it's the hero we needed, not the one we wanted. The recoilless m5 is worthless next to this.

As much as I've seen players and otherwise hating the game, the infantry play is as versatile as it's been in years. Gadget limitations and creative weapon kits like this have made for more dynamic play. Even if everything else is a buggy mess 😅

Lol people like you cried even in the BF3/4 times were vehicles took skill to master. In those 2 games a shit player didnt last 2 mins in a vehicle but a good one lasted all match. Vehicles are a joke in 2042.

i think it has to do with the pixels, in iron sight a far enemy could be 1-5 pixels for example, but youre always in theory able to hit an enemy, meaning since you cant do better than aiming at the exaact one of these 1-5 pixels, it will hit if you are on one of them. But with a real scope that same area could be like 150 pixels, meaning enemy has exact outlines and you can miss past the neck for example. the 5 pixel image effectively increases the hitbox size because the hitbox is cube shaped. But im not saying that its easier, your aim is just beyond reasonable, love to whatch it

@Stodeh since BF3 I have the feeling that the bullet drop is bound to the Scope instead of the Weapon, lol... It always felt like the bullet drop is less, when using a smaller scope, but maybe thats just a feeling, because you can't aim that precisely and dont see the bullet idk.

This is why idk why folks are complaining about hover crafts. I’ve never had an issue with them as Sundance and now with the ntw, it’s OV. Me and a buddy both run her with the rifles, 4 anti armor grenades and 8 anti armor rounds. We can basically clear an objective of multiple vehicles on our own.
