I have all 3 insured slots unlocked now playing solo, so now I just go hunting teams. But it's always 1v2 or 1v3, so I don't feel bad. Solos I only kill if they shoot at me first. If they surprise me I just down then and recruit them.

The reason for there being more interest in DMZ than Warzone 2.0 according to Google Trends is probably that there are tons of missions and objectives that aren't easy to understand while Warzone is pretty self explanatory. That aside, I've been enjoying DMZ quite a lot, but I think the NPC enemies are badly tuned. Sometimes they don't hit anything, at other times they kill you in 0.01 seconds from 328 meters away. I hope the new settings for DMZ in season 2 bring a solution to this issue.

@@L.K.48 can’t really say about the al mazrah bots cuz my mate i play with doesn’t like that map but the vondel bots are quite annoying sometimes although no been completely squad wiped by bots in a few seasons so could be worse 😅 I quite like 4 instead of 6 I just quit as soon as I die now let someone else get up, and the prices I can see why they did it but fucking hell 100 grand for a uav is atrocious ( I gave in and bought a bundle that gives me a uav 🙃)

i'm surprised u were on that spawn point for so long and haven't got into a big fight with other teams... in my experience on those 3 spawn points, it takes less than 2 minutes for a fight to begin...

As a DMZ player this is my biggest fear. I enjoy the COD multi-player experience like we all have for yearsss. However as a 38 year old gamer who still plays alot but not as much as I did before kids and career I'm not the biggest fan of Battle Royal games like Fortnite, Apex, and WZ1. WZ1 was my least favorite of them all. The amount of time people put in and the skill gap that created made it a very unenjoyable experience. WZ2 was a much better improvement with getting rid of slide canceling and slowing down the pace but its still a sweaty experience. DMZ is a breath a fresh air to the COD world. It has brought back passion for COD like I haven't had in years. However over the past 2 weeks it has become more like a WZ experience. I find myself now having to go in with a Sniper main and focus on other teams for the first quarter of a DMZ round. The friendly teamwork/party up is gone. Its been nothing but purple vests and sniper rifles. You have to keep your head on a swivel the entire time no matter what you are doing. YES i know there is DMZ missions that require you to hunt teams and get dog tags but thats not what most these players are doing. They are coming into DMZ to play it like a WZ match which in turn has me playing DMZ like WZ. Obviously this will help DMZ with more players coming over but the gameplay of DMZ has most of us completing missions at a much slower rate now because we have to focus so much on PVP

The "wings" are its missile racks. Shooting them off is just to make it less dangerous. The guns are just the bigger threat IMO so it doesn't really matter if you kill the wings first or just power through it.

I think we have Stod, Westie, Jack, and Aculite and stone just to name a few and other streamers to thank for bringing so much attention to DMZ…saw a potential gold mine for content and jumped on it..don’t really blame em. I remember the same thing happened with rebirth. The first couple months were gold I was getting like 3-4 wins a night coming home after work and it was still worth it to play…was like this for DMZ also but can’t just come home from work and play with randoms now because it has turned into a playground for sweats who want easy kills from players who are focusing on completing missions. Tomo has at least been realistic about DMZ's flaws. It's just not that deep of a mode though man. If PvP is encouraged, then players will always fight. You can't expect NOT to get shot at in a first person shooter game, especially Call of Duty. It's not that "streamers have ruined DMZ" it's moreso that Warzone 2 Battle Royale was a huge flop for a lot of people and interest died off fast because so much about the BR was clearly built with DMZ in mind so more and more players are switching over.

@@Finnetic totally. after all, gunfights are the core of the game. Average PvP, AI and exfil campers, ok. I mean the current state of WZ2 being so bad combined with a lot of creators making more DMZ content, inevitably it’s getting more competitive. I’ve just noticed PvP occurring way more often over the past couple weeks, which kinda sucks as I’m just getting into tier 4 missions which are already getting way more difficult and extensive.

You mean Warzone is taking over DMZ - in terms of sweaty players treating DMZ like BR. Had just looted our first building today and we were instantly attacked by the next spawn team with a precision. For what? We had $2000 between us and floor loot guns….And with the social glitch across all platforms when you do meet good players you can’t friend them. I’ve done 12 missions now but unless AV fix the glitch I can’t go any further without a regular team. It’s frustrating.

The point of fighting teams is to get their good contraband slots and remove people who could kill me later, particularly if they spawn nearby. I don't die to bots anymore, so players are the only threat

I liked DMZ before all the warzone try hards arrived it was laid back and chill at times, while other times it was sweaty and try hardy now its just all Try hard and no Chill. also the people became extremely toxic before had got some kind people hell even was able to team up with them and not get back stabbed. that's gone now sadly.

It's not Warzone tryhards, it's T5 missions that require tons of operator kills. For example, Kennel is 45 kills and it tracks individually so that one mission is at least 135 kills for a squad of 3 and likely a lot more.

Personally, I’m glad I’m chilling away from COD in general. I love DMZ, but I hate getting targeted in any pve/pvp based game in general. Especially if I’m not shooting anyone, not shooting back, and even running away 😂. I understand the ppl who really enjoy playing the PVP role in the DMZ. It’s okay. We actually need that, imo. It makes the game more interesting/risky. But I personally get too frustrated and cranky to the point that I have to take frequent brakes after losing everything to a relentless tryhard. I don’t think they should change the game mode to be more casual/pve player friendly (it would be nice) but I currently wouldn’t be able to handle the toxicity im seeing from the videos and streams. I’m just going to continue with my break, until I feel like playing again or they update the game mode to the new rumored map or something seriously interesting.
