Great review as always, especially with it being an air gun. i do like the break barrels, and multi pumpers, not a fan of pcp,s, i like the air source to be on board. Thats the old school charm and beauty i find with air guns and it just screams nostalgia and warms the heart. All the best.

@@bradleyhiggins6292 Yes, thats how i think of it ha ha. Nowhere to plug compressors in amongst the forest and you need to be carryin water and supplies rather than a big tank that is going to run out at some stage anyway. All the best from lancashire uk

I've an old wooden x20, an yep trigger ain't great. But it's bloody accurate, an the internals are all solid an well made.

KZbin search roller bearing mod. Takes 15mins at the tops but the trigger is so crisp n short, still safe enough that it wouldn't go off if it gets knocked around.

Its a shame with the triggwr complaint. It has a screw to adjust trigger. Look at hole under trigger guard. Thanks for review !!!!!

Quite like it , the coloured extras could be a selling point with young kids ... As for the " weight " and your advice on using the local gym , I have 3 boozers between my house and the local gym , as of yet I've not got past the second pub ...

looks so much cooler than the remington rubbish i bought. Even the manual looks nicer. Remington scope lasted 1 week and the rifle had to go back to the manufacture after month an a half cos the detent went wrong and the barrel would flop down by itself. And it cost about 50 quid more than your stoeger.

I own one of these it does have a trigger adjustment screw hair trigger read your manual I shoot rabbits with mine kills them easy but how many feet per second does it spit the pellets out at

Hey mate, thanks for the review. I've got the option between X20 RX20 and A30. I wanted to ask you if you've come across the A30 at all for comparison? Did you say the X20 scope it's adjustable zoom whilst the RX20 isn't? Cheers

I went with rx20 n got an aftermarket 3-9x50 scope with backlights. I found h&n pellets works best with this model. It's so quiet.

You would get a lot better Accuracy if you use the Artillery hold. You never stick a springer on a block you lose accuracy. Plus it will need a tin of pellets through it to lead the barrel and be more accurate. Like all guns they need to bed in and only get better.

How are ammo laws in the UK? I’m curious, here in the US in some states you can only buy ammo from registered firearm dealers.

Retoric question but do u need to loosen the screws first on the end of that grip,when it comes on manufacturer in order to gock it easier, Is there some kind of safety momentum in those screws, or do u need to use raw power to gock it half.

What poundage is the trigger? Did you manage to do a trigger pull test while you were shooting it?

The trigger is beautiful. A set screw adjusts it from behind trigger. Hole in trigger guard to adjust at any pull u want

Not a Fan on stoegers mate, the first one I had was the x20 and was ok for plinking but nowt else. Then for some stupid reason I bought the x20 suppressor which nearly broke my hand when trying to break the barrel it was so tight which went straight back to the dealer for an exchange which I got. But to get a shot and the pellet to fly true without going arse over tit down range was hit and miss. I got the drill out and did a little fettlin to the barrel so the pellet would seat better which did improve a little but not by much. So as far as stoegers to my friend never again for me. For less money if I was starting out in the airgun world for £139 you can get a gamo whisper sting with scope, far better quality gun if you ask me. Oh and the business end of that stoeger, just what was it modeled on!!!!!

It says in the manual not to because it could cause permanent damage. Slightly upset me to read because the salesman at the gun shop was dry firing them to show me how loud they were and the display was the last one they had. Ohh well. Mine seemed to work.

X20s was the worst air rifle ive owned in 50 years of airguns. 4 inch spread at 20 meters regardless of pellet or hold. Gave me a migrain what a piece of Chinese junk.

25 minutes and you didn't say a word ofany inportand stuff such as, what animals we can hit & if that is possible, what; is velocity, how many types of pellets can be used with it, if it spports a bipod, and u didnt field tset it to have aclue of how it performs. Poor review full of blubbering
