Stolen Civic Storytime

My integra was broken into and almost stolen about four times. I had my hood chained down and they cut the chain. I had my battery terminals screwed in and they cut the terminals. I had an alarm with a pager, they cut that and they cut the siren. I had a club device on the pedal that they removed. The only thing that kept them from taking my car was a kill switch that I installed and hid. They removed the seats, the panels, broke all kinds of stuff looking for the kill switch. I found my car down the street from my house. I flipped the switch started the car and drove it home. Put a kill switch in your car and hide it really good. I’ve had this car since 1997 and I intend on keeping it longer.

Wow man, that’s a lot! I use the club too on the pedals. Glad you still have it!! I do have a kill switch now and planning on adding another one

My EK hatch got stolen. I got it back 3 months later and all they took was the spare tire and Bluetooth transmitter lol. I have since installed the JDI push to start on it and plan on putting a ghost lock in my K swapped EG.

Oooh that’s freakin lucky, heck yeah haha Yeah I heard about ghost lock, I just have my kill switches rn but want something to track with. Thinking about the Apple trackers

Yo my ek hatch was stolen about 11 days ago I owned it for exactly a month when it got stolen what do you think the chances are that I’ll get it back lol

@@levibladen2741 it's probably completely stripped apart tbh but you never know I got extremely lucky. Make sure you made a police report so it is reported stolen. so you can get the car out of the tow yard for free. if I didn't have a police report and it being reported stolen I would have had to pay over $3500 in tow yard fees. your best bet after that is calling local tow yards.

Honda civics I remember my friend had a Honda Civic hatchback type R and people love distill that type of vehicle. They know there’s a lot of money invested swap parts from off the vehicle Honda need better security people are major car thieves. They don’t want to go out and work and pay for these stuff they rather steal somebody else.

My 2024 Honda Civic Touring was stolen over the weekend. Found an empty parking space except for a small pile of broken glass. It’s a nightmare!

I’ve been lucky enough to not have mine stolen ,but I did buy and install a ghost lock to keep some peace in my mind in case it ever does get stolen I can either prevent it or recover it asap since it has gps now 👍🏽

That’s legit, I have a couple kill switches now but that gps thing is another level

@@Backyard_Motorsports I have a kill switch ,but the demo video on the ghost lock had me sold ,that if they are driving I can shut off the fuel pump with my phone so they can’t drive and also if they unplug the battery the gps will still have I think 4-6 hours of it’s own battery so I can still track it

Dam that sucks bro but dam bro you would think after the first time you would invest in some security even if they are all stock Honda's are one of the easyiest cars to steal any old honda key will open & start your car with just a little wiggling always I mean anywhere you go always lock it up tight because they will take it even if it's just for a joyride alot of bums out here shit sucks.

Yeah it took me a couple times to learn lol I did plan on it before the red one got taken, I had the car a few weeks and had not gotten to it. Paid for that one…lots of security now. I wanna do a video on just security soon.
