Bug Death Thunder is the best "control" strategy in Mega Man Battle Network 6 competitive play. This Demi folder is built around using Bug Death Thunder to deal the most amount of damage, meaning the rest of our chips can play support! And our strategy just happens to beat Gregar's best chip too. Outlast the opponent and give them a good stun.

A cool thing you can do with this folder is also putting a static so if you run the hp, buster and maybe a color/ humor bug you get a max range and some benefits, its a fun folder falzar can give alot of spece to do creative stuff with

Demi, can you do a video on how to deal with BDT? I personally think it's a broken chip, it is simple but too OP. If it only had a few limitations like only one shot at a time, lasting 5 turns, that it could be uninstalled, or that it did 180 damage instead of 200 as there is literally no defense against it, only invis for a brief time, but the opponent uses slow gauge and it's over 80% of the time. Not to mention that Chargecross can deflect it but the opponet is ready with an aqua chip to decross or to take out holy panels in case of a life aura + sanctuary combo.

That's a great idea! As a BDT player myself I can promise you it's far from unbeatable, I spend the first 3-4 turns digging for it so I'm very vulnerable to disruption and aggressive plays from the opponent. One of the best ways to deal with BDT is using a Shield program (though if your timing is off that doesn't help much heheh)

It is far from unbeatable, it’s good until you are against veteran players. It negs lower skilled players like butter but almost completely useless afterwards, every BDT player movement is predictable and there is a delay in using BDT so you can punish them while they are stuck

A few tips I have for this archetype: If you suspect or know your opponent has Beat, run out a Navi chip before using Bug Death Thunder or HubBatch as a sacrifice. Unless you have a TFC disaster, Beat is the only way you can lose access to your giga chips. This archetype is extremely reliant on BDT especially to win and losing it is massively lowers your chances. First Barrier is a great way to bait out Rush at the beginning of the game. You’ll lose the invis, but you won’t get paralyzed. I would invis and then full cust right after if given the option turn 1. If you get Uninstalled, Ground Cross is a good option to continue using BDT because it has Super Armor still. BDT has a slow charge and you don’t want it interrupted from flinching. If you’re facing an opponent using the same strategy, Tomahawk cross is a great option because you won’t get paralyzed from BDT at least. Just be wary of Element Man as that will be the most common way you will be de-crossed.

Not dead at all! Capcom made an unfortunate choice with no quickplay online but they are many many folks who play together and in tournaments. I've been hosting a tournament every month actually, definitely check out our Discord and battle leagues! : )

1 question, do you feel like the 1 Elementman is enough to deal with tomahawk cross' status guard or does the folder not really care since you'll still be doing 200 damage anyway

Great question Joolen! I used to run FireSword Z to hit Tomahawk before I realized how awful Charge Cross is. I'm pretty ok with them just taking the damage though it's pretty bad if they have the area advantage because their charge shot is faster

@@scoutmasterdemi most annoying part of the video is when you said about taking it slow and steady oit of respect for the opponent. Who cares about respecting the opponent in an online PVP match. It's pvp, there's no such thing as Respect. The idea is to crush them with all you have, not taking it easy, cos of a stupid thing like Respecr. Would the opponent take it easy on you No, so why should you take it easy on them cos of a stupid and meaningless thing like Respect. Respecting an opponent in pvp is stupid.

@@Yusei255 that's not the meaning used in the video, or in any competitive games. It just means being mindful of tactics or moves that can catch you off guard or put you in a disadvantage position. In other words, do not underestimate your opponents.

I think they're ultimately not worth the slots in this folder. It's already pretty tough to dodge two Thunders and the quantity of panels you get with Area Grab is just better. You could maybe cut Uninstall or something but the slots are pretty tight and I'd rather run a 4th area grab
