Welcome to the cycle friend. When BF3 was out, it was the most shit on battlefield game to date and everyone talked about BC2 like it was godly. It's just whichever one these kids started playing first becomes the instant classic pinnacle of the series and everything that comes after is trash.

Thing is, BF4 was shit when it released. But it was totally transformed by DICE LA. Tickrate, weapon balance, map balance, UI options, everything was rebuilt.

That's the only reason I switched to PC lol. Everything else is just a bonus in my opinion. Battlefield 3 was the game that made me change. Little did I know the PC version also had 64 players and I think bigger maps. Not so sure on that last part.

DatGrunt the maps were the same size on all platforms, but PC had access to the Conquest Large game mode that gave Conquest maps one or two extra flags that weren't present in Conquest Small, which was the only version of Conquest on console in Battlefield 3
