The girls seem to take well to this coach! Great practice and good coaching. The girls need a set time of conditioning every practice to build strength and endurance

The difference is unreal with one coach; and is coaching how to stunt which makes a more entertaining routine!

The coach in the green is laid-back and motherly. She'd do well for motivational talks rather than floor coaching. The coach in the blue is business. Just from observing them, the girls themselves seem to have adopted a laid-back approach (with lots of teenage girl awkwardness as expected). They would benefit from learning how to get switched on mentally, which would transition them from "regular teenage cheerleaders" to powerful, fierce athletes. Sports is 90% mental.

Yes we love Coach Nicole approach!! Thank you for your kind words….It’s all about a healthy balance when approaching the youth. I’m definitely motherly and I absolutely love motivating these young ladies with wisdom that will prepare them for not only the competition mat, but the world outside of cheer. 💙

I agree with the coach that they spend a lot of time doing burpee’s when it appears to me that they need more core and leg strengthening-maybe do some 6 inches off the floor🤷🏽♀️. I still think that the tumbling passes seem disjointed when they stop and start again. The pass with the young lady doing the single no hand seems oddly out of place and seems to need something added-maybe a walkout of the flip into a round off then back flip. Anyway, these young queens are beautiful and very talented. Thank you coaches for applying pressure bcuz pressure makes flawless diamonds!

I agree. I mentioned the same thing in my comment on the last video. Each position-flyer, backspot, and base-needs to incorporate strengthening exercises for the muscles involved in stunts, tumbling, and dance. Alternatively, they could all do bear crawls like SMOED instead of burpees (eliminating burpees ENTIRELY since most of them do it wrong anyway). Specifically, the girl who performed the punch front should add round off back handspring or something to make it a complete pass, and those who don't execute the back handspring after the toe touch should crouch down where they are not visible until they regroup. Also, the beginning new lifting stunt having them tilt their head and back way more emphasizing the move. I hope that in the next practices, they refrain from marking their stunts and do every part in the routine full out until they HIT ZERO. But I love this level 5 coach. She points out some techniques they did wrong in every practice. With the right hand grips from base/backspot, flexibility(arabesques, scales being way passing their ears) from flyers, and sass/cleanness from the cheerleaders, this routine would be nice.

I'm assuming that they want to eventually have the girl doing the punch front to tumble out of it but she probably got the skill recently so it's better for her to get more consistent in landing it before tumbling out of it. Also I wonder if they could learn an Onodi. Unless that's too difficult for their level?

Yes!!! Continue to watch the episodes unfold and you will be happy to see some of the things you mentioned have been adjusted. Oftentimes Coach Nicole and I study the practice videos and always see opportunities to fix most of the things our viewers call out. We appreciate the love & support 💙

@@cuccharlotteultimatecheer3769 thank you for responding. I’m always going to support black excellence! It’s always awesome to see young AA’s doing positive things and I think that you all are very patient with them and apply the right amount of pressure. So, GREAT JOB COACHES!

This coaching style worked pretty well. Im not familiar with the coaches names except coach Black, however this particular coach, i really like her coaching style. I hope it continues. She is stern but still respectful to the young ladies. Not saying the other coaches aren't; i also like that it was less coaches, it seemed less overwhelming or irritating for the athletes. I hope persons that are the stronger athletes on the team dont eventually become bored with the sport especially on the team. I know they get annoyed a lot, especially with a lot of them being pre teens and older. They dont wanna deal with this or that and stuff like that. They just need to discipline themselves and things should work out. Athletes that have been with CUC before like Nadia and Ashlyn (im so sorry for spelling their names wrong) they seem to almost always have an attitude when being critiqued. If thats naturally their personality then okay, but if not, i hope the coaches really speak with them.

in a prev video we seen girls throw passes that im guess they just got it . I think you should incorporate them into running tumbling instead of having multiple girls throw multiple passes . Also thats the only way they’ll really keep the pass if they keep throwing it

How about y’all do Coach Lauren or Coach Nigel to coach alongside Coach Nicole (I hope I’m getting the names right). Nothing agains the short Coach but I don’t really see he do or say much..idk . Anyways I loveeeee Coach Nicole’s coaching style, she’s literally the perfect balance of stern but in a very loving way and that’s exactly what these girls need!

Coach Lauren & Coach Nhygel have taken on their own team, which you all will see on camera very soon!! However yes all the coaches will continue to support each other to ensure we are still present for all athletes regardless the teams they may be on.
