Would that lifting clamp be suitable for aluminum block?

Yes, but it depends on the weight of the aluminum. IThe aluminium block cannot be heavier that the WLL (work load limit). If you give the the weighted a photograph, together with the dimensions, I may be able to offer something more suitable.

@@Aardwolf.English of course you would have to respect the WLL. Aluminum has about the same density as concrete, stone, etc. 0,1 pound per cubic inch but it vary depending on the alloy composition Thank you for the reply
