learning to draw has helped me discover a whole new world of art, i didnt even know how to draw, i learned by observing and feeling the lines. i would like to try this sometime, alot of equipment and things needed..art school may have a class on this..

Very cool. How did the image get from the paper to the stone after it was drawn?

It appears as though this method would not work with colored (blue, yellow, etc..) images. Am I correct?

You'd have to make a plate/stone for each color. With Cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) you can produce a full-color image. In short, it's possible but difficult.

UH Digital Media I'm referring to a multi colored image (ex: a garden of eden with multi colored flowers and a clear blue sky mixed with white clouds.) Are you saying that it can be done?

TheNewRiflemanBob It would become 4 "printers" There is a famous print of Toulouse Lautrec showing him supervising the printing of a four-color stone litho job. www.swapmamas.com/swap/swap/SwapItemDetails?swapItemId=149474
