@@TheLucasGregory I'm pretty sure, that something definitely happened behind the scenes between Jim and all other Stone Sour members somewhere between tour of 2012 and release of HoGaB Part 2. You can even see that Jim is too bland on stage during 2013 shows. Perhaps it was overexposure for Stone Sour, but I can really see that something did go south with him and the band. Some time ago I was running Russian Stone Sour official fan community (we were approved by Warner Music Russia) and one dude from our team had this "brilliant idea" of spamming every band member on Facebook regarding Jim's departure. Suddenly, Josh replied to him with several messages. Cannot find them anymore due to transfer from Android to iOS, but Josh's messages heavily implied that there was a lot of tension between Jim and other members of the band (except Corey) regarding Slipknot album and contractual obligations. And having seen Stone Sour with Christian Martucci in place of Jim twice (2017 and 2018), I can say that, although I miss this "golden lineup" of Stone Sour, there's a strong chemistry with new lineup. Things just change.
