Valerie Castleman * my father died recently of brain cancer and he really didnt care for stone sour but when I played this song while I was sitting beside him in his hospital bed he cried and told me that these lyrics explain how he's felt..see,he was often confused and couldn't carry a conversation due to the multiple tumors in his brain...... this song was our way of conversing to each other....I'm sorry for ur loss

This song hits very deep for me. It reminds me of the first night and day of rehab. Being in so much physical and emotional pain that you're too tired to do anything. Not wanting to speak to anyone. Then it turns around and life seems brighter and liveable. If anyone out there is struggling with addiction, there is hope. There is still time for you and you will be in my prayers. Love all you guys.

Attempted suicide last week, have been in a hospital ever since. I'm being admitted to a unit tomorrow. This song helps me so much; it's the only song I've heard which I can really relate to right now. A nurse of mine actually introduced me to Stone Sour; we sat and spoke about music and he told me how it saved his life. I'm hopeful it saves mine too.

Lucy Elizabeth I hope everything is better now. I’ve been there and I can say it does get better. Sometimes it’s just a long crawl. That pain won’t be there forever. Just always remember- you are *not* alone in your suffering... there are so many of us all across the globe- fighting as hard as we possibly can- just to stay alive.

She didn't understand my pain until I shared her this song. I know this song is about Corey's pain of travel, but he didn't understand how His words touched this soul. I'm so sorry. It hurts so much 2 lose someone u depend on, especially 4 ur whole life. My late husband loved me but couldn't let things b. Had 2 always b right. Prescription drugs killed him. He's been gone I over 5 yrs but I still don't understand the rage at me. I only tried 2 live him as best I knew. Split up 3 yrs B4 he passed because of it all after 28 yrs. One thing he gave me was the Truth. The Bible & the Witnesses & Jehovah, the only way I've gotten thru. I won't b with him again, even if he's resurrected, but I hope he can know a life without pain. (John 5:28-29) We all need that. This is not the world God wanted when he created it. Was supposed 2 b a paradise where people would live 4ever. (Genesis 1: 26-28, 2:7-9, 15-16). So many promises in the Bible that WILL come true because God cannot lie. He IS love. (1 John 4:8) I'm trying 2 endure thru these last days until God's kingdom is the only government we will ever have or need. (Psalm 37, Isaiah 65, Revelation 21:3-4) I hope in some small way someone will see this is not the REAL life, there's so much more 2 come. I pray 4 all people 2 find this Truth & have the chance 4 real happiness. God will choose my next husband & we'll b married 4ever & b perfect humans that won't intentionally hurt each other because of sin & imperfection. Take care out there. 🥰🙏 So sorry I went on a small rant there. 🙄😞 I pray u & ur stepfather can connect again. The problem sounds like it was nothing 2 do with any of the kids, just parents. Hope they can work it out also. U need him in ur life as only father u know. Can u reach out 2 him? U r in my prayers. ❤️🙏

I've never found a song better suited for my childhood to adulthood and the toll it takes on you, being the invisible child of 7 with an abusive mother and absent father. Nobody ever sees you or cares. This song is beautiful for all the ugly things it touches .....

Does anyone else interpret this song with the military? When I hear this song, it reminds me of soldiers who are getting out of boot camp
