My dad loved this song, he would listen to it all the time and say it was like it was him talking. I played it at his funeral so everyone would understand. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Valerie Castleman * my father died recently of brain cancer and he really didnt care for stone sour but when I played this song while I was sitting beside him in his hospital bed he cried and told me that these lyrics explain how he's felt..see,he was often confused and couldn't carry a conversation due to the multiple tumors in his brain...... this song was our way of conversing to each other....I'm sorry for ur loss

This song hits very deep for me. It reminds me of the first night and day of rehab. Being in so much physical and emotional pain that you're too tired to do anything. Not wanting to speak to anyone. Then it turns around and life seems brighter and liveable. If anyone out there is struggling with addiction, there is hope. There is still time for you and you will be in my prayers. Love all you guys.

ღTaciturnღ ‍ Fabuless is far from radio pandering throughout it Corey disses mainstream media. Song #3 is different but once again not pop it's an insanely meaningful song just listen to the lyrics knowing the crap Corey Taylor has gone through.

Don't get me wrong, i liked the new SS album, but it's way more pop and generic than the others... Jim was the soul of this band, without him it's never be the same thing...

Attempted suicide last week, have been in a hospital ever since. I'm being admitted to a unit tomorrow. This song helps me so much; it's the only song I've heard which I can really relate to right now. A nurse of mine actually introduced me to Stone Sour; we sat and spoke about music and he told me how it saved his life. I'm hopeful it saves mine too.

Lucy Elizabeth I hope everything is better now. I’ve been there and I can say it does get better. Sometimes it’s just a long crawl. That pain won’t be there forever. Someone played this song for me 6 years ago and it still helps. I genuinely hope you feel better now or soon and know it’s not over. ❤️💕

Lucy Elizabeth i ve attempted suicide four times and yet i am here, i do believe God has faith in me and that is why im still here, but ir doesnt matter believing ir not in God, ir all about you, do you want to go on, fight until your last breath or just give up, being here you have a chance, killing yourself you give up on that chance as well, keep on fighting, i dont know you, you dont know me but from now on, you have a part on my prayers you can go on if nobody believes in you look yourself at the mirror, realize what you' ve been through you can do it

Ya know what keeps me from doing it? I'm too fucking stubborn! I honestly feel like if i "game over," then life wins. So i press on- day after day- despite life. Lol. I know that sounded insane- and it probably is.. but hopefully it helps you somehow. Just always remember- you are *not* alone in your suffering... there are so many of us all across the globe- fighting as hard as we possibly can- just to stay alive.

In the military, and haven't been home for 11 months. Just found this song and it's uncanny how much this can relate to the military. I finally go home in a week, but I'll only stay for two. So as of this moment "I get to go home in one week, but I'm leaving home in three weeks."

I'm a truck driver and this song I heard live the first time it was live and the night I saw stone sour in concert was the night after my daughter was born and I was up for 45 hours prior from driving home from Alaska to texas, and when arrived found out my baby girl and the concert was same day. my wife said go to the show I deserved it.... the next day I was told I was going to Canada for work and I heard this live for the first time and when I heard it I said fuck this job and I'm staying home with my family.... after seriously 5 and a half days of being awake I slept with my daughter for 2 hours for the first time and when awoke I felt like I've slept for years and was reborn....fucking crazy but true.

Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of my trek from San Diego to Portland. It was 15 years ago. I was a dire alcoholic and addict. When I showed up, I was breaking my mother's heart. She didn't understand my pain until I shared her this song. I know this song is about Corey's pain of travel, but he didn't understand how His words touched this soul. I don't think Corey understands how many lives he's saved with his words, but I'm forever grateful and so is my family

And after a huge fight earlier today he packed his stuff and he left. And now he my mom and are splitting up leaving behind my ten year old sister. I cant stop listening to it. He hasnt even been gone a day and my home just doesn't feel like 'home' y'know? It feels empty and cold. like something is missing. its like when you lose a tooth and you just have a hole in your gums for a while. hes gone. and it hurts so bad because hes the only father ive ever known. and i miss him alot and i just want him to come home

I'm so sorry. It hurts so much 2 lose someone u depend on, especially 4 ur whole life. My late husband loved me but couldn't let things b. Had 2 always b right. Prescription drugs killed him. He's been gone I over 5 yrs but I still don't understand the rage at me. I only tried 2 live him as best I knew. Split up 3 yrs B4 he passed because of it all after 28 yrs. One thing he gave me was the Truth. The Bible & the Witnesses & Jehovah, the only way I've gotten thru. I won't b with him again, even if he's resurrected, but I hope he can know a life without pain. (John 5:28-29) We all need that. This is not the world God wanted when he created it. Was supposed 2 b a paradise where people would live 4ever. (Genesis 1: 26-28, 2:7-9, 15-16). So many promises in the Bible that WILL come true because God cannot lie. He IS love. (1 John 4:8) I'm trying 2 endure thru these last days until God's kingdom is the only government we will ever have or need. (Psalm 37, Isaiah 65, Revelation 21:3-4) I hope in some small way someone will see this is not the REAL life, there's so much more 2 come. I pray 4 all people 2 find this Truth & have the chance 4 real happiness. God will choose my next husband & we'll b married 4ever & b perfect humans that won't intentionally hurt each other because of sin & imperfection. Take care out there. 🥰🙏 So sorry I went on a small rant there. 🙄😞 I pray u & ur stepfather can connect again. The problem sounds like it was nothing 2 do with any of the kids, just parents. Hope they can work it out also. U need him in ur life as only father u know. Can u reach out 2 him? U r in my prayers. ❤️🙏

This is exactly how I feel today. Separated from my wife, who doesn't believe in me. I'm responsible for a lot of things I'm fixing after a suicide attempt, which woke me up to where I was. God woke me up and gave me new tools. But, she's stuck in the patterns we both contributed to in the past. I don't know if she is willing to change with me now. Or, to keep going. And, our children are suffering the most of all. It just breaks my heart!

I'm homeless and hearing this for the first time, and it basically sums up how I feel in this situation. In addition, I'm a loner who has no one, not even one to love. It's raining now. I gotta go.

I've never found a song better suited for my childhood to adulthood and the toll it takes on you, being the invisible child of 7 with an abusive mother and absent father. Nobody ever sees you or cares. This song is beautiful for all the ugly things it touches .....
