I loved "Once he gets started, he can't stop." That is never the case around here. What a good, hard working, talented man. The soil and rocks were like clay in his hands and he hauled those buggers around like they were pillows. I found that creeping thyme is wonderful in cracks and crevices but sometimes can get out of hand.

What a beautiful result from all the hard work! I have layed around 100-150 feet of flagstone path in my 1 acre yard, so I know what hard work that is!! In one area I have used Blue Star Creeper in between stones. It loves the sun and blooms in late June with thousands of tune light blue flowers. It spreads nicely between stones fairly quickly. I love the look. Wish I could send you a picture!

Oh Mary it’s absolutely gorgeous. John did an amazing job. Everything looks so pretty. I have a sloped back yard and I’ve been putting in flower beds as I can. I need someone like John to help me. You are right! Your husband COULD start a landscaping business! How well built, it looks like a professional crew came out and charged you an outrageous amount of money! I agree with others that it looks like it has always been there. Rocks can be a pain sometimes but you are so blessed to have them. If you had to purchase the amount of rocks needed it would have been so costly. 💸💵 I love your selection of plants, I have many of those growing in my flowerbeds! Your videos bless my day, especially when you let us hear a bird’s song or the trickle of your pond and waterfall. Seeing that little sweet fur baby jump on your lap or saunter by to see if your projects meet her approval makes me smile! Just wanted to add my two cents worth of the fantastic job everyone put into your project. You used what God gave your area, and most farmers rant about, to make your yard even more beautiful. As I was watching your video, it reminded me that what everyone seen in a short video took you guys awhile to finally get accomplished to your satisfaction. It was hard, back breaking, dirty, and sometimes smelly work, but the end, is nothing short of a work of art. Made me think about that is probably how God sees working on me! I just pray I come out being his beautiful work of art

I live in central Georgia and love watching your beautiful property go through the annual changes assisted by your hard work and great ideas. I just wanted to mention that the pretty vine covering you referred to as Virginia Creeper has invaded my yard. Unfortunately, I discovered that some people are allergic to it just as they are to vines such as poison ivy. It is used in landscaping as is ivy for climbing walls or ground cover. It spreads its poison even in the air so you can't just pull it with gloves and escape getting it on your neck, face, or any other exposed skin. .......... I enjoy your posts, your expression of God's beautiful creation and the love of family along with your many talents. Blessings to you as you enrich our lives by sharing your life with us. You are such an inspiration to me, and other women too I am sure! I’ve watched you tackle big projects and small, and you never seem daunted by them. You show us that you can be feminine and graceful, and still do hard/dirty work! I’ve watched you weld, sand and refinish huge tables and multiple chairs, remove sinks and linoleum flooring, and now shovel manure. ☺️. Thanks for the encouragement!
