Funny enough I turned 10 in the summer of 2000 when they did a huge tour with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I got tickets from my brother for my birthday. He was 17 at the time and he was going with friends and agreed to take me. 99 being all the talk one summer before made my parents nervous to say the least, but we went. STP did an absolutely amazing set. Scott had his hair in a Mohawk and was all over that stage. Each band went for almost 2 hours after the opener. I remember just getting to the car at 1am. No cell phones. Just a 1998 Saturn in the lot to meet at if anyone got lost haha.
