Coming here from the 94 live version video and this is like 99% spot on. Love Scott and Jeff!

There will never be another Scott Weiland. But when anyone complains about Jeff, I send them this link. If they still complain, I wonder if their hearing is okay. This is the next best thing to the great Scott Weiland. Kudos Jeff Gutt. Well done!

Met Jeff here in Sweden after STP played, you could close your eyes and you could hear scott in his prime, Jeff is a humble but very secure person and can work the crowd!

Ele canta muito igual ao scott isso é bom por um lado e nos novos álbuns ele já é mais ele e nos antigos faz como o Scott Jeff é foda também

And the best acoustic cover of Pretty Penny goes to...........Stone Temple Pilots.

I would agree. No one has been able do this cover yet.

This isn't a cover though, it's them performing their own song

The real essence of whatever "Stone Temple Pilots" was....it died with Scott.

It was dead even when Scott was in the band lmao Jeff is a breath of fresh air. Just wish they’d make more heavy material with him

@@LRM5195I hate to admit it, Scott was awesome but man towards the end of it he wasn’t the same. It’s a shame him and the deleo’s couldn’t bury the hatchet.
@LRM5195Ай бұрын
@@jessedeleon4123 Exactly. I’m sure he was hard to deal with. Even the Velvet Revolver guys were having trouble with him. It’s sad.

Jeff pretty much fit the bill

He sounds almost like Scott but not exactly and I like that, he’s got the pipes to do the core stuff but can croon enough for 4 and the self titled.

Leo’s great cover brought me here. But I’m afraid this performance cannot be beat by another artist. Thanks

muito bom, mas, a versão do Chester me soa um pouco mais magica, talvez pelo timbre, enfim, ótima musica e ótimos intérpretes. ^^

I know Scott apparently said this song was a last ditch effort to convince everyone he wasn’t addicted to heroin, but addiction is a mental disorder and therefore your thinking processes aren’t ordered and structured properly and the conclusions you draw aren’t always (or ever) accurate. I think he should have stayed on the path he was on with this song. Perhaps it would have taken faith. I like him because he’s “the artist”. I think that’s truly what he is.
