I really appreciate your tutorials, theyre SO helpful!!!! Do you ever use .5 mm thread? For some reason when I’m working with 1 mm it just feels so big and clumsy to work with, and the projects turn out quite large! the .5 mm looks much neater and tight. It’s just confusing because I always see pictures of 1mm thread and it appears better in camera than in my real life haha.. but I do think I need more experience with both to know which I actually prefer.. just trying to decide which I want to commit spending money on is the hard part.

Hey! Some how I missed your comment, sorry 🙏 I used to make with 0.6mm long time ago and just this week received 0.8 and 0.5 to try them, I understand what you telling about how it's look but I think more important for the final result is flat cord 1ply, I like it more (only of it's very thin then 0.55 also will work) Will update soon more I information about threads in my IG page, hope to I out there 😌🔮🙏

Do you leave the ends long and work it into the piece, or do you cut them off after tying the hitch knot and simple knot
@MalkaMacrame3 жыл бұрын
I leave everything until the end usually :)

Lovely work😍 how come my stone is wobbly?
@MalkaMacrame Жыл бұрын
It is all about practice don't worry you will improve with time, Try to tight it stronger in the back and its will give the stone some support. Thanks for watching 🤍

When adding all the wires what is their length?
@MalkaMacrame Жыл бұрын
depends on what design you going to make:) if I know and I have an idea I calculate before, If not I prefer to take extra. I see it's an old comment that I forget to reply but I answer also for other people. thanks for asking and watching! ✨

Make the knots wider than you have and try again
@vangelina092 жыл бұрын
I’m curious why the nails and then of course the wire is so far apart. Doesn’t that constantly pull on the tension you’re trying to maintain?
@MalkaMacrame Жыл бұрын
good question, its can be more narrow but I have it also for wider sones and that's how I learned to make long time ago so I guess its habit of no real reason:)

@@MalkaMacrame ahh… well you’re not the only one that does that so maybe there is some good logic to it. But I’m having such a hard time with this🫤 thanks for replying tho☺️
