Last night I was finally able to play "The Stonehenge Defensive," during my playthrough of "Ace Combat 7." I ended up turning off the in game soundtrack and played this remix instead. It was so worth it and amazing. This soundtrack fit perfectly with the seriousness and mood of the level. A once out of commissioned super weapon being utilized to destroy another is, well, insane in the grand scheme of things.

@@striderx2498 Thank you for the like. To be honest I could not get into the Ace Combat 7 soundtrack. I literally had to shut off the ingame music and used the soundtrack from Ace Combat 04 and Ace Combat Zero.

I feel like Stonehenge was seriously under defended, should’ve had a shit load of Flak guns in and around the facility, vast network of CIWS, SAM and AA umbrella so dense you hav to fly At tree top level just to avoid dying and at least a few squadrons to defend it At least from the air

I can see your reasoning but I have to disagree, Stonehenge was not a fortress, it was not even super weapon originally, it was meant to shoot meteorites, it was only after Ulysses that it was realized as the worlds biggest flak guns, also Erusea did not originally own Stonehenge, it was taken the same year the continental war started, so there wasn’t too much time to fortify. It was also an indirect fire weapon, targets should have never been able to get to it in the first place as they had to go through the rest of Erusia’s newly taken territory, under its fire and without air support. Ground forces would be bogged down by unrestricted air-strikes and slowed down without airborne transport units and logistics, while Erusea enjoyed those benefits. Any aircraft that could avoid Stonehenge’s fire and get within it's dead zone would be intercepted outside of it by Yellow squadron which were major threat on their own even without Stonehenge’s support. There is also the strategic issue of placing the hundreds of soldiers and their weapons on the back line as a last ditch defense when they could be on the front line making it so that the enemy never gets there in the first place.
