There's something so magical about this drama. From the cinematography to acting, it feels so close to my heart. I am usually a very impatient kdrama watcher. I watch most of the drama's at 1.5x lol but I can't do the same with this drama. Every scene is too precious to pass by. Good amount of heart break laced with good amounts of humour and romance and the most important thing, a great storyline. Most definitely one of the very few things I'll remember about 2022 even after years. LJW was good in Extraordinary You but in this drama, he bodied the character. It's him. He is Jang Uk. Can't get over his signature hugging style tho. Somin (Mudeok) was incredible in the first part. I know lots of people were skeptical about Yoon Jung (Bu Yeon) but I was really looking forward to her acting and she did not disappoint. I feel like for each and every character, the casting was amazing. And the OSTs. Oh boi has it been a while since we got good OSTs. Ailee my queen is always pulling at my heartstrings whenever she does an ost. Lia's one has been on repeat. All in all, great drama. Just please let the ending not cause us too much pain. That's all I ask for lol.

I can't believe that only 2 episodes remain of AOS. I started watching it in the covid peak of 2021. It has been a great source of comfort and entertainment. Truly historic story and the most painful love story. Jang Uk and Naksu are iconic. Hope for a happy ending for these two.

Youn jung is such a great amazing actress..I watched season 1 after watching her as naksu in episode 1..but disappointed that she never came back in s1..she deserves this role..she was the real naksu from beginning and it was always her story..finally she us gaining the recognition she deserves..I was waiting for her to be casted as lead when I saw her in sweet home..she is really gorgeous and adorable..she and jae wook had better chemistry..they are quite comfortable with each other..hoping to see them again together

그동안 ost만해도 약 30곡 참여하셨고 애절한 발라드류도 많이 부르긴 하셨어요. 팬들이야 수록곡 외 모든 참여곡들 다 들어서 잘 알지만 대중들은 보통 타이틀곡 위주로 들으시니 댄스곡/파워풀한 곡들 위주로 알고계시죠. 애절한 발라드가 있는데도불구라고 타이틀로 그루브있거나 파워풀한 곡을 위주로 내세우는건 아직까지도 에일리라는 가수만의 대체불가능한 곡 스타일이 있기때문이라고 생각하구요. 에일리님 스스로도 아직까지는 발라드보다는 댄스가수라고 생각하시는 것 같아요.😊

After 7 months I still listen to that OST’s. I still watch all the edits and videos about AOS. I’m still with them. I stuck at that time. I just miss them, this era, this k-drama.

환혼이 좋은 게 새로운 배우들을 알게 되어서 좋음 맨날 예전부터 나왔던 배우들 말고 비교적 거의 신인들이어서 와 20대 배우들도 연기 잘하는 배우들 많구나 싶음 무덕이도 난 거의 정소민 작품 처음 봐서 신발견이었고 부연이 장욱 서율 세자 다 연기 잘한다고 느껴지더라

How this OST was released in episodes 7-8 is on point unfolding Jang Uk's and Naksu's love story of falling in love over and over again despite all odds is both heart wrenching and beautiful.. AOS is indeed masterpiece.. Season 2 is truly well writtten and portrayed by LJS and GYJ.. Will forever love this drama.. best of the best so far by Hong Sisters.. hoping for a happy ending though..💟 and a new drama for LJW and GYG together.. their chemistry is just superb and 10 episodes did not do them justice.. will miss this drama.. how to move on with just 2 episodes left.. 👊

I love this OST! This song really brings out the perfect emotions when you think about Yeong/Naksu's whole lifestory-- from when she lost her family, then when she was trained to be an assassin and made to believe lies about her father's death, and then everything that happened between her and Jang Uk (and the people she met as Mudeok in S1), and all the way to how her story is about the end in the last two episodes to come. I just hope that she gets to use her sword one last time and point it to the right enemy this time 🥺 I will miss Alchemy of Souls. Thank you for making my 2022 really exciting 😭😭
