It's crazy to me that he's talking about releasing a studio record with this band on top of preparing another solo record. Brant's level of creative output is nuts, he's already released fifteen studio albums solo or with a solo band - and then you've got his output with Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Vista Chino etc. You can tell he's really in this for the love of the game.

Hey man, if you got the songs you got the songs. Artists like Lil B, Buckethead and Riff Raff have opened my mind to what true pedal to the medal artistry and songwriting is: you can do a song in a day. All of these artists have had years with insane outputs. Human body and mind can do it. Usually rock bands release less because the quality has to be superb and they do it as a team and not a solo project.

Damn straight. Brant's in it for the music game, Josh is in it for the music fame. That's the reason why you never saw them together again after Kyuss. But aside from that, I hope they can put their differences aside for a reunion at some point.

Great interview!!! From a point of view as an old Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri fan, i can't even describe how excited i am over this band.

"We put the band together quickly". "You wanna play in ma band? Yep! You wanna play in ma band? Yep! Let's have some fun!" P.S. This bandname screws with google searches....

Agreed. I spin it almost every day. Can't wait for their new album in May, the singles are pretty damn good so far.

This is a good surprise just like those hell raising leads that come out of those rolling baselines. Good luck for the future.

Man, I often can't keep up with what Brant and Nick are getting up to. These 2 dudes are ALWAYS working on some form of music and it's killer!

Would be nice to know why Vista Chino didn't continue and if there are any plans for a future record. Brant working with John Garcia (and Bruno Fevery I might add) was really really good!

I concur, I'd always hoped for a sophomore album. But hey, with Nick included, 3 Kyuss guys are as good as 4 when it comes to Bruno sounding as good as Josh.
