Stony Brook University Presidential Lecture: Jeff Goodell

Stony Brook University President Maurie McInnis hosted award-winning journalist and author Jeff Goodell for the October 25, 2023 Presidential Lecture, part of "Answering the Call: A Special Series on Climate Change."
Goodell has been covering climate change for more than two decades. His latest book is The New York Times bestseller The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death on a Scorched Planet. He is also the author of six previous books, including The Water Will Come: Rising Seas and Remaking of the Civilized World, which was a New York Times Critics Top Book of 2017.
