3 steps... 1. Open Sketchbook 2. Sharpen pencil 3. Learn from David, a Master artist. Amazing tutorial!! This is what we needed and the title of the vid is awesome too!💪😊

I think you missed a step
@jameselrick6698 Жыл бұрын
@psylite6850 They did, first step is study anatomy to understand skeletal structure, placement of muscle, form and shape changes when muscles move, basic understanding of construction, and perspective. Then step 2 is Open sketchbook and sharpen pencil and get ready to tear down and draw bodies and body parts for a few months. Finally step 3 is learn from more than one artist.

@@pogz1 I'm not a pro but maybe this tip will help you don't work hard and start working smart,draw a sketch and check whats a problem in that sketch ,after that draw that sketch again and improve whatever problem your first sketch had and keep on repeating this process until you feel you are improving and once again I'm not a pro so this tip may not even work but you can try it if you want to.

Thanks for doing this. This definitely an area that is difficult to study, but I think my understanding has gotten a little better by looking at the work of various artists including yourself. Something that did frustrate me earlier are the muscles (there are about three of them) that go over the scapula, because depending on the person they are either very prominent or not there at all, and you just see the scapula bone sticking out. Usually on women. Side note, it's really amazing to me how John Buscema or I guess Mike Deodato can use their rending/scribble techniques in the right places, and just by doing that they can make a back look very believable. Remarkable.

could you make a video on composition? Those videos are always only about the rules of composition but never about why the artists chooses the one he does. Guess what I'm trying to say, it would be nice to have a video about the thought process while designing the layout, instead of just the rules.

Hey David, your art is amazing, and drawing along with your streams have been some of the most fun I’ve had drawing in a while. I was wondering if you’d consider making similar anatomy videos for characters without such heroic muscular proportion? I know that in comics there’s so much variety in character design, from everyday average joes as well as superhero’s. Just wondering if you take a different approach when drawing more average body type people
