Definitely a fine line. I’m guilty of overwatering everything it is a bit of an insurance policy. Our cultivated plants are so dependent on us being there to water regularly!

There is a strange need to "control" everything within some folks. The gardens/beds have to look "well organized" and "cleaned up"....once a neighbour exhorted me for not mowing the lawn regularly to 5mm like he did...he said that all the "weed seeds" are coming over to his "english lawn" 😅😂 OMG... I love to have a wild garden with lots of flowers and I let grow also the common weeds, there a various types of - they "bloom" very beautiful, as well, at least in my sight 😝💚🌱
